Terms & Conditions

1. Scope

These terms govern the rental of vehicles and related concierge services provided by Aurum Cars GmbH. By confirming a reservation, the renter accepts these terms in the version applicable at the time of booking.

2. Reservations & quotations

An enquiry is not a binding contract. A reservation becomes binding once we issue a written confirmation specifying the vehicle, rental period, price and applicable conditions. Quotations are valid for the period stated within them.

3. Eligibility

• The driver must hold a valid driving licence appropriate to the vehicle category, held for the minimum period stated in the confirmation.
• A valid form of identification and a payment card in the renter's name are required at handover.
• Minimum age requirements vary by collection and are stated in the confirmation.

4. Pricing, deposit & payment

Prices are stated per day unless otherwise agreed and include the cover described in the confirmation. A refundable security deposit is held by pre-authorisation and released after the vehicle is returned in its original condition. Mileage limits, fuel policy and any additional charges are set out in the confirmation.

5. Delivery & return

Vehicles are delivered and collected at the agreed time and place. The renter is responsible for inspecting the vehicle at handover; any pre-existing condition is recorded jointly. Late returns may incur additional charges as stated in the confirmation.

6. Use of the vehicle

• The vehicle may be driven only by drivers named in the confirmation.
• Use for motorsport, sub-letting, or transport of goods or persons for hire is not permitted unless agreed in writing.
• Cross-border travel must be approved in advance.

7. Liability

The renter is responsible for the vehicle during the rental period and for fines, tolls and damages arising from its use, subject to the cover described in the confirmation. Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.

8. Cancellation

Cancellation terms depend on the collection and notice period and are set out in the confirmation. We will always state any applicable cancellation fee in writing before you confirm.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the renter's place of residence remain unaffected.
